University of Modern Administration was founded in 1986.It is a public institution with legal person registered at the national registration authority institutions, a private high education institution was approved to establish by the education committee of Beijing (Registration No.11101002000340).UMI constantly adjust the professional settingaccording to the needs of socio-economic development, gradually formed based on economics and management as leading, and coordinated development of five categories on economics, management, literature, law, engineering and other disciplines.The school has a large campus of 400 acres, building area of over 100,000 square meters; it also has more than 20 features classrooms such as engineering, liberal arts training room, computer network center, 140 ordinary classrooms, six students’apartments, 3 students Activity Center Plaza, 400 meters standard plastic playground and other teaching facilities.

UMA also has an Affiliated High School - Beijing Bowen Academy.

For the purpose of refining personal skills and strengthen cultural foundations, UMA established “The Institute of Chinese Calligraphy and Art Study”. Hundreds of calligraphy artists were invited to attend an Art Exhibition, and thousands of students and teachers from UMA also participated in it. The art exhibition greatly enriched campus cultures as well as proclaimed artistic spirits.
UMA owns a professional academic team includes more than 300 teachers, and most of them were hired from national famous universities, such as Peking University, Tsinghua University, China People’s University, Beijing Normal University, Communication University of China, and china conservatory of music. After years selection and teaching, the academic team of UMA is acknowledgeable, professional, and standardized，which greatly improves educational quality.
