The security work conference was held in Nov.5, 2014 in Accounting Office on the second floor. The meeting deployed the winter security work during APEC and presided over by vice secretary of the party committee. Present at the meeting were president of the university and secretary Mr. Quan Sun, vice president Mr. Chunsheng Chou, vice secretary of the party committee Mr. Guang Mu, as well as middle-level cadres of the university.

The meeting began with the deployment of winter security work during the period of APEC by vice president Mr. Chunsheng Chou. According to the overall goal he put forward, it is required to guarantee the stability of the campus as well as implement effective control to key personnel. Preventing the spread of bad information and collective appealing, and making sure no major accidents happen are also included in the goal. Meanwhile, he proposed definite demands for security educating, identifying and handling problems, student management, gate guarding, watching strengthening and information sending.More importantly, Six Demands claimed in the meeting are: fire prevention, traffic accidents prevention, drowning while skating prevention, gas poisoning prevention, and the fireworks wounded prevention.

Then, Mr. FengweiZheng, the Defense Department Chief, conveyed the Fangshan District security conference spirit to all participators and come up with the specific demands for the on-going fire emergency drills.

Last but not the least, president of the university and secretary Mr. Quan Sun emphasized relevant requirement on three aspects: First, APEC is world event held in Beijing, every citizen is responsible to maintain security and stability of our capital especially leading comrades at all levels, which is the basic requirements for maintain national and capital image. Second, is according to “No interrupting, no joining big crowds, no going to sensitive areas” requirements, it is demanded that managing and educating all the teachers and students, establishing strict system for ask for leave, carrying out watching and guarding the campus, assigning security responsibility to individuals and paying special attention to campus internal security. All the above are the support for the APEC conference. Third, special attention should be paid on winter security work especially the fire preventing work. Fire emergency drills should be carefully carried out to improve the fire prevention consciousness. In regard to gas poisoning prevention work, the basic data of teacher and students living outside the campus and off-campus interns should be submitted, making sure that no problems happen during this period.
